Carmen writes for all types of ensembles. He has written for orchestra, concert band, woodwind quintet, brass quintet, string quartet and many more unusual combinations of instruments. He has recently completed work on a project titled the
Drama Classroom. This is a resource for drama teachers published by
Digital Overdrive. This project required composing of over 70 original compositions for use with the drama resource. The compositions represent a variety of styles and historical periods. Carmen’s music for small ensembles is published by
Eighth Note Publications. Commissions for new works are being accepted.
